Rachel Krentzman PT, E-RYT, C-IAYT
(Director/Lead Instructor) founded and directs Embody Physical Therapy and Yoga in San Diego and organizes Yoga In Medicine Conferences for the UCSD Center for Integrative Medicine. Her book Yoga for a Happy Back: A Teacher’s Guide to Spinal Health through Yoga Therapy was published in May of 2016, and her second book Scoliosis, Yoga Therapy and The Art of Letting Go was released September 2016. A graduate of McGill University, Rachel completed her 2000-hour teacher training with Aadil Palkhivala at the College of Purna Yoga and has studied intensively with Judith Hanson Lasater. Rachel has integrated yoga into her clinical physical therapy practice since 2002.
She lives in Ra’anana, Israel with her two sons.
Rachel is also the co-founder of Wisdom-Body Yoga Therapy School, an 800-hour Yoga Therapy Training in Kfar Saba, Israel.
Rachel Jacoby began practicing and studying yoga after making Aliyah. She graduated from a 200 hour teacher training course with Kinneret Yoga and then went on to complete a 480 hour course with Yael Ziv in Tel Aviv University. Intrigued by the body and yoga therapeutics, she studied Yoga Therapy with Gil Solberg, Yoga for Happy Back with Rachel Krentzman, and recently completed a Level 1 and 2 Yoga Wall Training in Brussels.

Batia Hoftstadter What began in 1997 as a simple athletic pursuit blossomed into a lifetime passion as Batia discovered the infinite benefits of Yoga in her journey toward wellness of the mind, body and spirit. A Ra'anana resident since 2008, Batia builds a non judgmental space for yogis of all levels, combining asanas (poses) with safe alignment. The practice focuses on conscious and mindful breathing to achieve self-discovery, awareness and emotional well-being. Batia holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and is a certified Life Coach. She completed 600 hours of teacher training to earn her Yoga certification in the Hatha Vinyasa style in 2015, followed by a 100 hr certification in Yoga therapy (The Happy Back Method).
